Does ABA have to be 5 days a week?

ABA does not have to be 5 days a week. The schedule follows the number of hours the BCBA recommends after the assessment and what works for your family. A child getting focused help on a few goals might come two or three times a week. A child in a comprehensive program may have sessions most weekdays because the hours are spread out.

Consistency matters more than the exact number of days. Skills build faster when practice is regular, so a steady schedule beats occasional long sessions. Sessions can also split across settings, such as some at home and some at school. We offer after-school, evening and weekend times, so therapy can fit around school, work and siblings.
